FUNDRAISING PROJECT
In 2019, we had our Tiny Home at People's Tiny House Festival in Colorado Springs and we printed out some blank T-shirt outlines on paper, put out some markers and pens and asked people to give us their Tiny Home message. We gave them the promise that if anyone purchased one of their messages they would get a T-shirt sent to them. (Read the longer story below)
How can you help...
We'd like to make this more official and launch a Tiny Home T-shirt store. We plan on moving this over to a shopify platform which will help make the online sales easier.
We estimate pricing is $20-$30-$40 depending on the Type of T-shirt you want, how much to donate to the non-profit, etc.
The non-profits will be focused on Tiny Homes, Housing Homeless, Veteran support, Elder, Youth skill development, etc.
If you'd like to support non-profits and get some Tiny Home Schwag Email me below.
In your email let me know your address, size, style of T-shirt and color of lettering. I will then send you samples of the T-shirt styles and pricing and a paypal invoice. I can also send you the T-shirt confirmation.
This will help me figure out how to best set this store up.

Long Version T-Shirt Story
It all began on a hot summer day in 2019. My husband Eric and I were showcasing our 33' Tiny Home at Veg Fest in Westminster, Colorado.
We saw many attendees wearing T-shirts with messages about vegan life, planetary awareness, sustainability, animal rights, etc. It dawned on me that the Vegan movement was far older than the Tiny Home movement and while we do have a few T-shirts (Legalize Tiny Homes and Home is where you park it, Thanks to Tiny House Expedition) we needed way more Tiny Home memes and T's.
But it wasn't going to all come from me...I needed to enlist the thousands of people that attended the Tiny Home Festivals.
The following weekend we were at People's Tiny House Festival in Colorado Springs and I was ready.
We printed out some blank T-shirt outlines, put out some markers and pens and asked people to give us their Tiny Home message. We gave them the promise that if anyone purchased one of their messages they would get a T-shirt sent to them.
What you see above are the T-shirts that made the cut. Some T-'s we have names of the authors and some went anonymous. We thank everyone to participated and hope this will bring on even more.
Our top five values at Experience Tiny Homes is Community, Autonomy, Diversity, Advocacy, Sustainability and Generosity. It's not enough to just sell something and make a buck...it's how you make your product, who you employ, how you treat your employees and what you stand for. Basically the DNA of a company's brand is important to us.
Keeping in mind our values we searched for the right T-shirt company to carry these powerful memes of the Tiny Home movement. Here are a few of our questions as we looked for the right one.
1) What is their stance on diversity?
2) How are they making their products and do they have an environmental commitment?
3) Who makes their T-shirts?
4) Are their employees treated with fair wage and good working conditions?
Each shirt you see was not printed, but stands by ready to be ordered, then printed...it's called on demand printing and is one of the best ways to reduce waste from printing T-shirts in a variety of messages in a variety of sizes only to be stuck with the inventory.
We pledge to only buy T-shirts from companies who have sustainable practices, diversity pledges and an extended community support.
We are happy to report, we found two companies that meet our standards, American Apparel and Bella Canvas.
Below are their commitments.
