Hello my name is Lindsay Wood and I went Tiny in 2017 when my husband and I were tired of paying high rents in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our value of home ownership, financial freedom and a simpler lifestyle was tested early in our journey to GO TiNY when we rescued our Tiny Home from our builder who went out of business during the middle of our build.
Ever since that experience going from Custom Tiny Home to surprise DIY, we’ve been consulting with clients to help them better understand their options for going Tiny.

What's on the Agenda?
During the GO TiNY! Field Training you will be on a one day Fast Track to truly understanding what options are available to you as it relates to your specific situation.
Here’s an overview of the day and what you can expect.

- In the morning you’ll be welcomed with your GO TiNY! goodie bag to take with you on your very own VIP Access of Tiny Homes.
- From there we’ll head back to the classroom for Step 1 Envision. This is where you’ll share your own reasons for going Tiny and be inspired and find commonality with others going Tiny. Throughout the day we will be back and forth from the classroom learning from experts who have been in the industry for years as well as having the opportunity to test our new understandings in the field with multiple builders and experts to guide you.
- We’ll then head back out into the field to learn from Lindsay Wood, The Tiny Home Lady as she presents her GO TiNY! Presentation with 2-3 participants getting an opportunity to be in the Tiny Home Hot Seat.
- We’ll then have a yummy catered lunch to enjoy in the classroom or on your own (you choose).
- After lunch, we’ll dive into Step 2 PLAN. This is where you’ll learn more about financing a Tiny Home, How to park a Tiny Home and get access to the questions and strategies for finding your dream builder.
- We’ll then shift gears to share with you the latest and greatest in Innovative products and materials for Tiny Homes during the Tiny Home Innovation Showcase.
- Now that we’ve gone through a lot of Tiny Home sessions, it’s time for Step 3 ACT. We’ll tour the Tiny Homes and put the new material into practice with new eyes and new questions.
- Our day will wrap with an exercise in Next Steps to GO TiNY! And a sneek peak at the GO TiNY Academy.
