Mendocino County legalizes Moveable Tiny Homes as a single family dwelling unit and Accessory Dwelling Unit!!
On September 10 2024, the Board of Supervisors formally adopted the amended Mendocino County Zoning Code - Division I, which applies to all parcel locations determined to be inland and not within the Coastal Zone or the Town of Mendocino. Links to the amended Zoning Code can be found below.

Included in the Zoning code on Page 12 of 356 is a definition of a Moveable Tiny Home
Sec. 20.008.042 Definitions (M) “Moveable Tiny Home” means a dwelling unit utilized as a single family dwelling unit or accessory dwelling unit which complies with the standards found in Chapter 20.170.
